Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, Bahraini clerics said: "With the conclusion of the mourning season for the tragedy that befell the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his purified household throughout the months of Muharram and Safar, and having drawn lessons of sacrifice and selflessness in the path of faith, conviction, and the consolidation of the pillars of allegiance to the One God without partner, alongside love for God's chosen ones and disavowal of their enemies and oppressors both past and present, we stand today in gratitude to Almighty God."
The scholars praised God for granting the faithful Bahraini nation success in generosity, patience, and steadfastness in reviving this divine season during an exceptional year filled with challenges and hardships.
A Nation That Stood With Honor
"This was a year the nation traversed with honor, blessed by its self-sacrificing Husseini spirit — a spirit that shattered all attempts at belittlement and insult, and foiled the plots to strip this season and its religious rituals of their divine content," the statement read.
The scholars emphasized that these rituals form the identity of the nation and its ancient homeland in religiosity, belonging, and authentic Islamic-Mohammadan character.
Appreciation for Organizers and Participants
The Bahraini scholars expressed appreciation to all who contributed to the success of this great season — including the custodians of Hussainiyas and mourning processions, preachers and orators, eulogists and servants, organizing committees, and devoted youth who dedicated their efforts and time, as well as the women who provided support across all sectors of these commemorations.
Lessons Beyond the Season
The scholars called on the faithful to carry forward these lessons, stressing that they do not perish with the end of the seasons but must serve as a guiding light for daily conduct, firmness in principles, and adherence to the path of allegiance in all affairs of life.
They urged that Imam Hussein (AS) remain alive not only in memory but in the very conduct and way of life of the faithful.
The statement concluded with prayers to Almighty God to grant relief to every oppressed and afflicted soul and to bestow deliverance upon the downtrodden everywhere.
